As you can see, we do have a problem in picking a date for the marriage.

Although we are Catholics by faith, we have been taught to respect our parents and our family elders, and that includes their beliefs and religion too. The elders have indicated preferences but say they leave it up to us to decide on the dates. However, Adeline and I have decided to accommodate as much (after discussions, that is) to see how we can fit in the dates, time, theme and place of the wedding.

At this current junction, it seems that we have only 4 good “weekend days” in Q4 2009, of which 3 are Fridays and 1 is a Sunday.

That particular Sunday (101010) is a date in which I had earlier decided (and told to many of my friends during Project 999) that it would be a date that I would least consider due to the popularity of the date. And Sundays are not usually days to hold weddings as they are Sabbath. (Do correct me if I am wrong).
I have proposed to Adeline that we can see a priest and ask around for opinions on  101010. Would be perfect if we could get that date but then we might be a little late.

On that note, the wedding date to be on 101010 does not mean that the wedding dinner or lunch will be the same date. We are contemplating to have the meal on a separate weekend after the wedding.
Would be less shag too, for us and for all our dear family and friends attending.
Do let us know your kind views.
