We have always heard people giving advice like $4k is ex, $2k is cheap, depending on the type of birth, if possible avoid Cesarean etc. But we had really no idea what the breakdown of the total cost is all about and whether they are medisave deductible.

I took a little pain to tabulate the individual components down to the pill they charge us for. I just wanted to know the cost components and to see whether having babies are huge costs.

Well, just to share. Hope this helps those who are clueless like the previous me.
